Who are we?

The Management Structure

The corporate management structure is operated by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Canada and the U.S. The CEO possesses the executive power over the company and leads the financial and strategic oversight of the organization to ensure that the company remains on the appropriate path. The COO leads the operational procedures of the company and manages the construction, formulation, and engagement of the services and affairs that are vital for the development of the company.

The operational management team in Canada/U.S. consists of a Director of Advancement (DA), a Director of Public Relations (DPR), a Director of Fundraising (DF), and a Director of Strategy & Development (DSD). The DA is primarily responsible for connecting WETE with other like-minded organizations that share similar visions through special events, programs, or productions. The DPR, in contrast, serves as the leading entity that spreads WETE’s vision to other organizations through social media presence, public relations, or other forms of marketing. The DF is specifically responsible for establishing the fundraising strategy, managing fundraising goals, and monitoring fundraising milestones. The DSD creates and oversees the strategic plan for operations and development and works with the rest of the team to put the strategic plan into fruition.

The operational management in Afghanistan consists of a Facility Manager (FM), a Legal Affairs Manager (LAM), and three educators who lead the on-site educational facilities in the local developing regions. The FM leads the on-site day-to-day operations of the educational facility and is in scheduled dialogue with the corporate management team. On-site operations include paying rent before designated due dates, ensuring that educational standards are met by the students, and overseeing the student-based salary structure. The FM will work closely with the LAM to ensure that all necessary paperwork is updated regularly and that all documents meet the standards for local regulations, that students are paid at the specified timepoints, and that all staff and students abide by the local regional labor laws. The three educators will rotate on teaching schedules to provide daily lectures for the students that follow the specified curriculum.

Additionally, the company consists of several Ambassadors around the globe who help coordinate, organize, and perform special events that are connected to the organization. The ambassadors do not have official responsibilities in the organization, but rather function as volunteers who lend helping hands during special events.
